Introducing Donna Joan

Introducing Donna Joan image

Over the past couple of months we’ve spent even more time and energy than usual devouring foodie news, trends and ideas… in preparation for the launch of Donna Joan. This culinary hub is where simplicity, style and a fusion of food trends come together under one brand.

Donna is a private chef who spends her days creating world class, custom menus for clients to enjoy in their family homes or rented villas; teaching cooking classes; consulting and baking wedding cakes fit for a fairy tale.

We worked with Steph Greene from Smack Design to create a corporate identity that is simultaneously stylish and full of character – with a combination of navy blue, grapefruit pink and dusty yellow. These colours are used throughout the single page website, coupled with trendy icons, beautiful photos and an uncluttered design.

Yousemble founder Andrew Vink also assisted us with some custom CSS on the website – so it was a great team effort all round. The result is a testament to the fact that this is how we work best - collaborating with experts in their respective fields.

Donna was an absolute pleasure to work with as she was always enthusiastic about our ideas and came armed with dozens of her own for each strategy session. It’s great to have completed the website and we look forward to building this relationship further by giving her strategic input on her marketing strategy and content creation.

'From the word go the ladies at the Yellow Door Collective have exceeded my expectations and delivered above and beyond anything I had ever imagined! To be able to watch my ideas and dreams transform into ‘hard copy’ and watch these creative geniuses grasp my concept and then run miles with it, has been an experience on its own! I highly recommend the Yellow Door team, Steph and Andrew - what a treat to work with such a high calibre of creatives. Many, many thanks!’
