Winemaker Pierre Rabie and wine enthusiasts Rob Stelzner and Karen van Helden have joined forces to create the perfect home for the esteemed Giant Periwinkle wine label on the hills of Baardskeerdersbos.

Pierre, Rob and Karen tasked us with creating a website that showcases their new wine label, and at the same time gives a feel of their farm, located just outside of Baardskeerdersbos. They are a creative, poetic bunch and this new digital presence had to incorporate this whilst still maintaining a sense of professionalism and being easy to navigate. Our project manager, Kirst, has been lucky enough to visit in person (as well as sample the vino!) so she was well-positioned to understand the clients’ needs.

We designed a stylish and user-friendly website that is fast and mobile-responsive, created page banners that reflect the farm and has the logo watermark superimposed on it, allowed the pictures to tell the story – by keeping copy to a minimum and having clean, simple page layouts. We also created a simple order form for them to capture new wine orders.
