What role do you play as part of the Yellow Door team?
I am currently working as a Graphic Design freelancer for Yellow Door!
Which of the Yellow Door values do you resonate most with and why?
Definitely authenticity. Personally, I believe one can’t design or create successfully unless you are authentic in what you create.
Tell us a bit more about your area of expertise, and why you are passionate about it?
I would like to think of myself as a jack of all trades, but an area I am definitely passionate about is illustration. To me, illustration is an insight into the mind of others. There’s so much freedom and no rules, you create whatever your heart desires.
What do you find most challenging about this area of marketing?
I find that sometimes it’s difficult to work with brands that have limited creative freedom.
What trends are you looking forward to learning more about/ implementing as part of your approach?
Some big trends that I am really looking forward to learning and implementing would definitely be blur and grain! I have been seeing it a lot recently and love the look!
What are the top projects or brands that you’ve had the opportunity to work on?
As a new designer for the agency a project that stands out, has to be Seven Colours Eatery. The branding that I had the opportunity to work with is so bright and makes me so happy!
What do you do when you’re stuck for inspiration?
Put on a good movie and have my sketchbook in front of me and draw aimlessly! That’s where my best ideas come from!
What do you do when you’re not working?
Swimming in the freezing ocean water, cooking something delicious or drawing something.
If you could be any superhero, who would you be?
Hmmm. I think I would need to design a new superhero! I would love to have the power to speak any language! So, brb gonna go design a superhero!
