Flexible, dynamic, collaborative – what to expect from Yellow Door in 2021

A few months ago, some of us were baselessly optimistic that at the stroke of midnight on 31 December all of our 2020 troubles would disappear, and we would stride in 2021 with the pandemic firmly behind us. Clearly, this was not going to be the case with the COVID-19 pandemic raging on all fronts and with no end in sight.

However, it’s certainly not all doom and gloom considering we survived the year from hell and learnt a lot along the way. Not least the ability to adapt to our surroundings and come out stronger on the other side. So, given that, here’s what you can expect from behind our Yellow Door in 2021.

Flexible relationships because people come first

We understand that the biggest issue with the economy at the moment is the uncertainty of what the future holds. For this reason, we’ve structured an offering which allows our clients to opt for a small monthly retainer that services their specific needs each month. Instead of a static list of deliverables, we meet with the client at the beginning of the month to discuss what is most needed in the business and how best to use our time to help.

This includes strategic input on business processes, content creation for promotions, newsletters and social media or even an SEO audit. This offering gives clients the flexibility to call on us when they need us most, with the reassurance that we have carved out time to ensure that we can help them.

Collaborating with like-minded agencies & freelancers

This is nothing new for us as we’ve built our business on the concept of dynamic capacity; forming a network of reliable team members that we can call on at any time to increase our capabilities. This year though, it’s needed more than ever as we ramp up our efforts to ensure that businesses are able to service their clients through online marketing and well-built websites.

For that reason, we’re currently talking to new freelancers and agencies to include more specific skills in our offering and enable us to build multiple websites at the same time while still managing the process with our core team and maintaining the excellent standard of work.

Creative, dynamic content despite the restrictions on movement

The lockdowns and restrictions on movement we have all experienced do wonders for stopping the spread of the virus, but have the ability to seriously hamper certain industries such as advertising and videography. However, it doesn’t mean that we can’t still create dynamic content using the already available library of stock imagery and videos on the net.

Here is an example of a website header video we created for a pitch recently, produced entirely out of stock footage and stills of the estate.

Another great example of this approach is the Virtual Casting Studio created by our client, Kayos Casting Directors – who have completely pivoted their business and are changing the face of the commercial advertising industry through this innovative idea.

But I’m getting side tracked! So before I go down a rabbit hole of businesses we’re proud to work with, I’d like to finish up by saying that we intend to implement every bit of insight we learnt in 2020, to help businesses thrive and keep offering the best quality services while sticking to our values.
